This is from sophomore year....
Here are the projects that I worked on during class. These projects took time and effort to make.

The Letter
By making this it shows my ability to use exact o-knives and hot glue.

I made this by cutting out the letter A out of foam board. I then cut out one inch strips and hot glued them to the sides of the A.
The Log Book
This is used through out the week to record our progress on our current project. It ensures that we are doing what we are suppose to do during class time.
I made this by first designing the cover. I then took 20 sheets of of paper and hole punched then. I then used a binder holder and and put it n the hols of the papers.
The Binder
I made this by cutting out a 11.5 inch by 19 inch foam board. Then I scored the board from 9 inches in from the end. I then lightly bended the light cuts making it into a binder like folder.
Rubber Band Racer
First thing I did was make a sketch of what I wanted my car to look like. My idea was to make a cube that looks like a rubik's cube.

When realizing that i had too much weight in the back, I glued stick onto it to make it hit the ground if it started to fall back
When measuring how far my car could go, it measured out to be 62 inches.
At first i cut six squares of poster board, 4 by 4. I glued them all together to make them into a cube. I then picked which side i wanted the bottom to be and cut a large square. I then glued a straw on the bottom, closer tot he front. I then cut two small pieces of the straw and glued them on each side of the hole. I then put two metal rods through the straws and cut them to the length I wanted. After that i put my wheels on. Using the piece of metal i cut off, I glued it onto the middle of the back rod where the hole is. After assembling the rods, i continued to design my car like a rubik's cube.
the penny launcher project
I first started this by gluing four squares of poster baord to make a cube without two sides. I put a metal rod going across the box and then i glued a pencil to the middle of the rod.
I then made a little box and glued it to the end of the pencil. After that i made a little incision in the front and glued a piece of the metal rod to the board.
I then glued little rectangles to the back so i could measure how far i have to pull back the pencil so the penny could hit the target perfectly.
I put a rubber band on the pencil and then put it on the little metal piece. After doing that, i put a piece of cardboard in the middle of the box so when i pull the pencil back, the penny doesn't go too far.
Photoshop

I then copied the original picture and made it completely white, to act as the frame. I then dropped a shadow on it to make it more three dimensional. I then changed the background canvas color to something similar to the picture.
celebrities and tv shows
it took many steps to Photoshop myself into pictures with celebrities and a TV show.
For the bill nye picture i pasted myself onto the picture. then i copied part of his part of his body onto the part of my arm. I then changed the size of myself and saturation to make it look real. I also cloned the background to get rid of any part of the the original picture of myself.
In order tot do these pop up picture frame pictures, i did the following. I first cut out the part of the image i wanted to pop out. I then copy and pasted it. I then changed the background and erased the original subject of the picture. To do this, i cloned the background. I then distorted the copied image to make the copied image look like it was popping out.
first i took a picture of myself in a position that makes it look like i'm actually in the original picture .

I then cut myself out of the the original picture of me and pasted it onto the image i wanted to be a part of.
I then positioned myself in a place that looked the most realistic.
For the greys anatomy picture, i put my self into a partially empty space. i them coped part of Derek to cover up the part of me to make it look like a more realistic picture. I changed he hue and saturation of myself to make it more similar to the original greys anatomy picture.
For this picture with Jensen Ackles and Jared padelecki, i pasted myself onto the picture. To make it look real, i changed the brightness and added a shadow to make it look like i was really there.
